The Markham Federation of Filipino Canadians (MFFC) held a very informative and useful computer seminar on Sunday, November 21, 2010 located at the MFFC Centre in Markham. The event was targeted towards individuals who possess basic computer skills but wish to enhance their knowledge of their computers for practical, everyday usage. Topics included general computer operations, useful keyboard/mouse functions, managing files, surfing the Internet, and social networking, such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and more.
“Kudos to the MFFC…We learned a lot about Facebook and Twitter and the fascinating world of social networking. A lot of takeaways most especially the valuable tips on PC usage and housekeeping from very knowledgeable speakers” say event participants, Bay and Daisy Bernabe. The event was presented by experienced Filipino-Canadian professionals, Geny Toribio and Johnny Reyes. Both individuals have years of experience in the fields of computer systems and information technology. The event also included an interactive question and answer period and informative hand-outs.
