Final countdown to MFFC’s A Taste of Broadway: Remastered

It’s almost showtime for the Markham Federation of Filipino Canadians! The final run throughs and dress rehearsals are happening at the Denison practice center, and excitement is growing exponentially.

The one-weekend-only performance taking place on October 7 and 8 at the Flato Markham Theatre features songs from musicals including Lion King and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. Alongside the youth performers will be guest performers Alvin Alba, Michaelangelo Masangkay, Jason Nunez, Jasmine Ragual, Candace Santos, and Karen Tan, and special guests such as Markham Mayor Frank Scarpitti.

MFFC Seniors' Educational Trip

If you ever dreamed of going to the above, this is your opportunity. We will visit the Collingwood museum, the Nancy Island Historic Site in Wasaga Beach, watch Elvis festival shows and swim, walk, sunbath or just enjoy the scenery at the Wasaga Beach Provincial Park. Most expenses will be funded by the Seniors Community Grant—Government of Ontario - as per approved budget.   • report of the unfinished business from any previous meeting of the Corporation
  • report of the Chair of the Board
  • discuss and ratify constitutional/bylaws changes
  • Such other items of business as the Board may determine.
